Fundamentals of Estate Planning
What is a will? What is a trust? What health care documents do I need? What is the estate tax? These questions and more are discussed in this introduction to estate planning. This one hour workshop covers basic documents, discusses some common planning issues and concludes with an overview of the federal and state estate taxes.

Creating Plans that Work
This two-hour workshop combines the material covered in ‘Fundamentals of Estate Planning’ with a more detailed discussion about solving common estate planning problems. This workshop talks about how we can ensure that a plan is updated and accessible when needed, how we can leave assets to loved ones protected from creditors and predators, and how we can plan for periods of mental disability.

Advanced Estate Planning
This two hour workshop goes over the “alphabet soup” of tools available when
solving advanced planning issues: ILITs, GRATs, CRUTs and CRATs are all discussed, along with several other advanced planning strategies. Learn what practical and financial questions you should answer when considering one of these strategies.

Charitable Giving
Would you like to minimize your tax bill and leave money to charity at the same
time? This two hour workshop may be for you. We’ll discuss the charitable planning tools available, talk about the implications these gifts have on income and estate taxes, and share some information on partnering with nonprofit groups.
